Volunteer Agreement

Volunteer Agreement

Please find below our Volunteer Agreement.  You will be asked to read and agree to our agreement when you register as a volunteer with Norfolk Museums Service.

This agreement sets out what you can expect from us, and what we hope from you. It is not a contract and does not imply an employment or worker relationship. The arrangements may be cancelled by either party at any time.

Please read this agreement alongside your role description and any service specific information issued to you.

We will:

  • Provide you with the training needed to undertake your volunteering role
  • Give you a named contact who will provide ongoing support throughout your role.
  • Provide a safe environment for you to carry out your volunteering activity.
  • Treat you with dignity and respect and in line with the principles of NCC’s equality, inclusion and diversity policy
  • Investigate and seek to resolve any concerns or complaints
  • Provide adequate insurance cover while you carry out your role

We hope you will:

  • Support NCC’s vision and values

  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures including health and safety, DBS, safeguarding, confidentiality, and data security.
